Former WWE play-by-play announcer Mauro Ranallo has signed on with Bellator MMA.
Ranallo will be a member of a three-man booth as Bellator has also signed former UFC play-by-play announcer Mike Goldberg. Former Bellator play-by-play man Sean Grande has left the company.
Mauro is currently signed to Showtime Championship Boxing & has previous MMA experience with the PRIDE & Strikeforce promotions. All indications are that he will continue to call boxing for Showtime.
The new Bellator announce team, also including color commentator Jimmy Smith, will make their debut at the Bellator NYC: Sonnet vs. Silva pay-per-view on June 24 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
