Mustafa Ali has made his way back to the ring after suffering a concussion on the February 5, 2019 episode of Smackdown Live.
He wrestled WWE Champion Daniel Bryan last night at a live event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mustafa Ali didn’t defeat Bryan, but the fact that he was thrusted right back into the title picture on live events has to be a good sign for Ali.

Before Ali was injured, he was scheduled to be a part of the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. Kofi Kingston received the opportunity to take Ali’s place in the match & came within a half a count from winning the WWE Championship.
With controversy surrounding the WWE Championship, it will be interesting to see how WWE leverages this into a possible storyline for the former Mustafa Ali.
