During his match with Chris Jericho, it appeared that Neville injured his ankle. It appeared serious; so much so that the match ended abruptly with Jericho attempting to go for a pin, but the referee not counting. That led to Jericho going up to WWE official Charles Robinson and getting disqualified.
The entire finish seemed odd and was certainly not planned. Many fans in the arena informed PWP Nation that Neville was seen being carried to the back with help from officials and was unable to weight on the injured ankle/leg.
Neville will be examined tomorrow morning and will likely get further medical treatment. PWP Nation will keep you up to date with all information regarding this story.
This injury could very well effect plans for WrestleMania, as it was reported that Neville was being considered for the multi-man ladder match that is being expected to take place for the WWE Intercontinental Championship featuring Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Neville, among others. Obviously, those plans are in danger of being changed.
