On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed that New Japan Pro-Wrestling is very interested in re-signing Shinsuke Nakamura and bringing him back to the company after his WWE contract expires.
It’s rumored that Nakamura’s contract expires at the end of the year and it’s said that New Japan Pro-Wrestling is targeting several past talent which includes Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
Here’s a quote from Meltzer on WOR:
“I know they do want him back … there will be attempts for all those guys. Gallows and Anderson, if they wanna go back there, they can go back there. They’re kind of treading water [in WWE], who knows how that’s gonna go.”
