According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Nick “Magnus” Aldis is currently in “very serious” talks with Impact Wrestling about signing a new contract and returning to the promotion.
The two sides parted ways in 2015. TNA is currently under new ownership and with Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel in charge of creative and talent, the company is looking to add talent, but the Anthem Entertainment, who acquired the company from Dixie Carter and Billy Corgan, are weary about spending money at this time as they’ve taken on a considerable amount of debt when buying the company.
It’ll be interesting to see how Anthem plans on adding big names without spending a large amount of money. This story is still developing, so when PWP Nation has more, we’ll be sure to provide it.
