Kenny Omega announced via TokyoSports that he is leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Kenny basically reveals in the interview that he will be coming back to fight Tanahashi after some time away and a new strategy. He also states he wants to be somewhere where he is happy.
Also, a tweet by New Japan Pro Wrestling employee, Chris Carlton, stated that Kenny Omega is leaving NJPW.

Since Omega’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship loss this past Friday at Wrestle Kingdom 13, speculation has been circulating about his future. WWE has always been a rumored destination for Omega, with rumors floating around that he has been offered $3.5 Million dollars per year.
With All Elite Wrestling set to announce “Double or Nothing” as their second show, it would make sense that Kenny would help his friends launch their promotion.
And we can’t discount the big Ring of Honor/New Japan Pro Wrestling Madison Square Garden WrestleMania Weekend show. Omega would be a major part of that equation, with some fans saying that he may get a rematch for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
