UFC light heavyweights Paul Craig and Kennedy Nzechukwu are scheduled to meet at UFC Philadephia.
The promotion officially announced Craig (10-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) vs. Nzechukwu (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has been added to UFC on ESPN 2, which is scheduled to take place on March 30 in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center.
Craig will be looking to bounce back from his submission loss to Jim Crute last December. Before the loss, Craig had his lone win of 2018 with a submission victory over Magomed Ankalaev last March.
Nzechukwu will be making his UFC debut after impressing the promotion with a TKO victory over Dennis Bryant on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series last August. The fight was Nzechukuwu’s second appearance on the show. He’ll enter the fight vs. Craig with an undefeated record and 4 of his 6 wins coming via stoppage.
Other fights slated for UFC Philadelphia include:
- Edson Barboza vs. Justin Gaethje (Lightweight Bout)
- Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Michelle Waterson (Women’s Strawweight Bout)
- Alexa Grasso vs. Marina (Women’s Strawweight Bout)
