Tonight, the UFC’s second event on ESPN+ takes place from Fortaleza, Brazil, with Raphael Assuncao taking on Marlon Mores in a five-round main event. The weigh-ins took place yesterday with Sarah Frota and Magomed Bibulatov both missing weight. Frota came in at 123 pounds for her strawweight fight against Livinha Souza and will be fined 40% of her pay, while Bibulatov came in one pound over the flyweight limit at 127 and will be fined 20%.

Ross Pearson is scheduled to fight Desmond Green at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Gaethje on March 30th on ESPN from Philadelphia PA. Pearson has lost five of his last six fights, including a loss to John Makdessi via unanimous decision in his most recent fight last July. Meanwhile, Green has lost three of his last four, most recently dropping a unanimous decision loss to Mairbek Taisumov last September.
Bellator released their viewership statistics for their Bellator 214 card last Saturday. Including Paramount Network’s DVR + 3 viewership, the card averaged 784,000 viewers from 9 – 11:44 pm ET. The main event between
Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader peaked with 1.5 million viewers, while
Aaron Pico and Henry Corrales and Jake Hager vs. J.W. Kiser garnered 1 million viewers. They added that it was the most streamed preliminary card there promotion has ever had and the second most-streamed Bellator event ever on the Bellator and Paramount mobile platforms. The viewership numbers do not account for DAZN, which simulcasted the event.
