In case you missed last night’s festivities, Randy Orton won the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble & will go on to WrestleMania to challenge presumably the WWE Champion.
WWE has not made it crystal clear that the winner will stay on their current brand to challenge the champion. In past Royal Rumble’s when The Brand Split was in play, the superstar who won the Rumble was able to challenge for any championship of their choosing.
With WWE presenting The Elimination Chamber in two weeks for the Smackdown brand, there are many different possibilities for who Orton may challenge at WrestleMania.
As it stands right now, Orton would be facing either WWE Champion John Cena or Universal Champion Kevin Owens.
