According to a report via PWInsider.com, former Impact Wrestling Women’s Champion Mia Yim has signed a developmental deal for WWE.
After competing in the 2nd Annual Mae Young Classic this summer, WWE officials were very impressed with her performance in the tournament, especially after an outpouring of support from the fans at the tapings.
Yim has spent the last few years of her career working in Impact Wrestling. Yim reportedly began her training at the performance center on September 16th and is expected to be used in NXT when the time is right.
