UPDATE at 1:54 PM EST: 

The FBI has released an official statement on the possible planned ISIS attack at WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta:

“The FBI is aware of the report of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event.  While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time.  We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe.”

WWE released an official statement here:

“WWE Survivor Series is currently schedule as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities.”

Word coming out of WSB-TV 2 Action News in Atlanta is that FBI officials have confirmed that they are taking a report seriously about an ISIS threat of an attack at WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta, Georgia.

The hacker group, Anonymous, who has vowed to take down ISIS, has relayed information that the Islamic State group is planning attacks in the United States. Anonymous suggests that ISIS is planning an assault at the WWE Survivor Series, as well as more events in Paris.

Georgia Emergency Management Agency Director, Jim Butterworth, released this statement to a reporter at Channel 2 in Atlanta:

“We are working closely with the FBI, the Georgia information sharing and analysis center and others in evaluating the threat on a Sunday WWE event in Atlanta reported by the group Anonymous.”
