According to a report from Bill Pritchard at WrestleZone, Impact Wrestling star Killer Kross is being punished by the promotion for refusing to blade during a First Blood Match against Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary.
Kross was apprehensive to blade due to the lack of blood testing done by the company for their talent & the lack of a medical team at the show.
Impact Wrestling was upset at this because they had to acquire fake blood for Kross to use. He had no problem losing to Edwards…it was simply the circumstances involved in the proposed finish of the match.
This report has been confirmed by various sources including Fightful & PWInsider.
Additionally, this could effect Kross’ booking for a future AAA show. Impact Wrestling has been working with the promotion on promoted events in the United States.
