Roman Reigns made a controversial appearance during the Royal Rumble last night, entering at #30 & nearly winning the match after not being advertised.
But his appearance wasn’t “all for naught.”
During his Rumble appearance, Reigns eliminated The Undertaker.
According to a report by our close personal friend Dave Meltzer, Roman is currently scheduled to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. While plans can always change, it looks like the set up is in place.
Earlier in the night, Reigns lost his No Disqualification Universal Championship contest against Kevin Owens w/ the help of Braun Strowman, leading to speculation that Roman vs. Strowman was set for WrestleMania.
However, the report indicates that Reigns will be wrestling Strowman on Raw Live Events in the immediate future & will likely have a rivalry until the heavy build for WrestleMania begins.
