According to multiple reports, WWE SummerSlam will take place August 23rd “live” from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The event was originally scheduled for the same date in Boston. WWE was trying to find a new smaller venue for the event, but with recent spikes in COVID-19 cases, the company decided to hold the event at The Performance Center.
There is no word yet if any fans will be allowed to attend the event. It is also being reported that NXT Takeover will also happen the night before on Saturday August 22nd.
