According to the great Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon is currently against the idea of adding various independent wrestling organizations to the WWE Network. Vince feels that there are massive costs involved in adding the libraries and possibly airing live independent wrestling events.
Vince doesn’t feel that the addition of more subscriptions would offset the costs involved in this venture. There is always the possibility that major players involved in the WWE Network could convince McMahon to see things differently.
Also, WWE has polled subscribers & email list members in the past about the idea.
