According to MLW Radio, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon was reportedly not at this Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view in his usual production stage chair, where he runs and operates the show.
There is speculation that McMahon missed Payback due to his dislike of traveling to the West Coast and may have missed the entire week of programming, including Monday Night Raw and SmackDown LIVE. It should be noted that WWE’s travel schedule this past week has been quite hectic as they traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast for Payback and then flew to Rome for their European Tour.
As for what this means, it seems that considering being in his early 70’s, McMahon may be shorter his schedule, especially when it comes to week-to-week travel. It’s being said that Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Stephanie McMahon ran things this week after returning from vacation recently.
