According to a report via TMZ.com, Hulk Hogan and WWE are in talks once again about a possible return to the company.
The report states that talks reignited when the Saudi Royal Family requested that Hulk Hogan be a part of the Greatest Royal Rumble event in April. Although Hogan did not appear, the request led to the two sides once again talking about a future return. According to TMZ, the talks are going better than previous attempts.
Hogan left the company in 2015 after a controversy emerged of Hogan saying racist comments on audio/videotape. Since then, Hogan has apologized and recently referenced the incident at the Boys and Girls club, where he used it as an example of language that shouldn’t be used.
WWE actually commented on the work Hogan has been doing with the Boys & Girls Club:
“WWE applauds the work Hulk Hogan is doing with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to turn what was a negative into a positive by helping young people learn from his mistake. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE.”
Obviously, there have been several similar reports of Hogan’s return for years now, but they always seem to die off. Only time will tell if this report is same.
