According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, WWE is planning a strategic counter to AEW’s “All Out” in Chicago on August 31, 2019. Meltzer described this as a “major counter.” Vince McMahon is reportedly ready for legitimate competition from All Elite Wrestling & is taking it seriously.
WWE will be airing the Evolve 10th Anniversary Show this Saturday Night on the WWE Network head-to-head against AEW’s Fight for the Fallen. Considering that “All Out” is the sequel to the mega-successful “All In” pay-per-view event last year, it will be interesting to see what kind of counter attack WWE has up their sleeve on August 31.
