According to Dave Meltzer, WWE has reached out to “The Realest Guys in the Room”, Enzo & Cass, about a potential return to WWE.
However, the return would seemingly be to the place where the duo gained their initial popularity: NXT. With NXT set to debut on the USA Network in a couple of weeks, the idea is to bring them back for some shock value.
Both men left WWE under auspicious terms with Enzo getting released due to sexual assault allegations, which were dropped due to insufficient evident. Cass was released due to going off script on multiple occasions & having a diminishing attitude backstage.
It remains to be seen whether this is “just a rumor” or if there is anything more to this. We have reached out to a representative from WWE for a comment.
