Rich Swann has been released from his WWE contract today. As per usual, he was “wished well in his future endeavors.” The report also noted that they “mutually parted ways.”
I’m sure the door is open for a comeback in the future, but who knows? Domestic abuse is no joke, even if no charges are pressed. It doesn’t set a good example for a young fanbase.
While we aren’t positive what is next for Rich Swann, it’s a safe bet that he will continue his wrestling career on the independent circuit. Considering he’s only 27 years old & has a relatively unique style, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Swann head to Impact Wrestling. It would be a smart move for Impact as well.
If they invest in Swann soon, they could benefit from a long term return on the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
