Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will return next week after being sidelined for several weeks due to a viral illness that crippled many others in the WWE locker room.
Reigns will make his first TV appearance since being pulled from WWE TLC, in which he was scheduled to team with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to go up against Braun Strowman, Kane, The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. The absence resulted in Raw General Manager Kurt Angle stepping in to replace him.
Additionally, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are also booked for next week’s show. As you can imagine, they’ll have a ton to say as news broke earlier today that AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at the SmackDown LIVE taping in the United Kingdom. Lesnar and Heyman will likely response to the fact of having a new opponent (AJ Styles) for the Beast Incarnate.
