Earlier today, speculation began on some possible matches or themes for this year’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. The event is set to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on November 18th, 2018.
In anticipation for the event, the popular Twitter account @WrestleVotes, who has broken news and stories in the past, stated that this year’s Survivor Series focus will not be brand supremacy, but will still feature traditional Survivor Series matches.
One of the traditional Survivor Series matches the account mentioned was between Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin. It’s being said that a Team Angle vs. Team Corbin match is very possible for the event and would result in a “winner-take-all” scenario, in which the winner would gain the control of Monday Night RAW.
Here’s the tweet:
Hearing that Survivor Series won’t be focused to much, if at all, on RAW vs SmackDown this year. Good chance at a Team Corbin vs Team Angle matchup for RAW control.

As we’ve seen on WWE television recently, Stephanie McMahon has made suggestions that Kurt Angle could be back sooner rather than later to Baron Corbin, especially after putting himself into a WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns just a few weeks ago.
