Earlier this week, news broke that AJ Styles is headed to Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 33 where he is scheduled to go one-on-one with Shane McMahon. But the big question is who would be heading over to SmackDown Live in his place?
Well according to PWInsider.com, two names have surfaced as possible replacements: The New Day and/or Roman Reigns.
At this time, WWE views the SmackDown LIVE tag team division as very weak and believe that The New Day would add a new level of excitement around the division and give the current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha some much needed competition.
In the case of Reigns, it would create plenty of new matchups with people like Baron Corbin, The Miz and in my opinion, a no brainer Summerslam match with John Cena. The early word on the draft is that each brand will be assigned a certain amount of picks to chose talent from each brand and NXT.
