According to a report via ProWrestlingSheet.com, several Impact Wrestling referees have been either let go or have requested their releases from the company, just days before their biggest show of the year, Bound For Glory.
Earl Hebner, Brian Hebner and Brian Stiffler are all no longer with the company. The releases come after Impact Wrestling informed the officials on staff that the company would be using local referees in Canada for Bound For Glory and the entire week of tapings after the event this Sunday. Impact Wrestling is reportedly doing so for cost-cutting measures.
Hebner initially joined Impact Wrestling back in 2006 and he was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame.
Following this report, there is speculation that many other officials for Impact Wrestling could follow in their footsteps.
