Here is the official Raw preview for tonight that seems to be hinting that Shane McMahon will be running things yet again. However, the arena does not have Shane advertised to appear live.

Even though he failed to defeat The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania, Shane McMahon was still granted a temporary reign as Raw’s showrunner — by Mr. McMahon, of all people. His first night at the helm of Monday night’s hottest show brought us a new Intercontinental Champion, several new Superstar debuts and the return of the fan-favorite Cesaro.

It’s clear that WWE’s Prodigal Son didn’t fall on his face as The Chairman had hoped, and it’s equally clear that the WWE Universe likes the way Shane runs things. In fact, due to the overwhelming support that Shane received throughout social media throughout the past week, Mr. McMahon has announced that his son will once again be in control of Raw tonight.

How will Shane follow up last week’s night at the helm? What will his continued success mean to the overall power base of The Authority? Does the WWE Chairman have something planned to derail his son’s further accomplishment? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network.

  1. I thought last night’s RAW was lame.

WWE just has a “corporate” PG cardboard scripted feel to it.

It has none of the fun of the 80s and none of the unpredictability of the Attitude Era.

It just seems like a kids’ show now where no one “superstar” stands out, and they are cardboard, and can be replaced at anytime, who will pretty much be the same thing.

All these guys like Zayn, Enzo, Balor, and Corbin Bernsen or whatever his name is – people go gaga for them and I’m like….meh. I don’t see Stone Cold or Rock in them at all. They hop around the ring and do their acrobatics but it’s the same garbage. They appeal to marks but have no crossover appeal.

I prefer TNA, ROH, or NJPW.

  2. The attendance numbers for Mania prove one thing – you can;’t trust WWE’s reporting of their numbers and can’t trust their DID YOU KNOW’s.

They inflate and give false numbers.
