Smackdown Moving To Thursdays?
Once again, speculation is risen that Smackdown might be moving from it’s time-slot on Syfy at 8 PM EST on Fridays. There has been rumors about this for months, but with the latest information; it looks more evident then ever.
Syfy released that their new show titled, “12 Monkeys” will be debuting on January 16th, 2015 at 9 PM EST on Friday nights. Obviously, this show would interfere with the second hour of Smackdown. Of course this could be an error in the press release or something along those lines, but this is the first real sign that Friday Night Smackdown might be moving to Thursdays.
PWInsider.com reported earlier this year that WWE was planning on moving Smackdown to Thursday nights, but decided not to due to the NFL’s Thursday Night TV schedule that debuted this year on CBS.
