During the January 12th, 2016 SmackDown tapings in Lafayette, Louisiana, Alberto Del Rio had his rematch for the United States Championship against Kalisto, who defeated Del Rio this past Monday on RAW for the title.
Well, during the rematch, Alberto Del Rio won the title back via submission from Kalisto, due to the distraction from Wade Barrett.

- Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose & Bo Dallas def. Damien Sandow, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger & Goldust.
- Becky Lynch def. Brie Bella via submission.
- The Dudley Boyz def. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in a tables match; post-match, Braun Strowman attacked both Bubba Ray and D-Von and put through tables.
