As of recent weeks, Bray Wyatt has been taken off TV. The move was made after losing a championship match alongside Matt Hardy. The two have since split, with Hardy taking a backstage role instead. Since being taken off TV, there has been several reports and rumors that WWE is planning a dramatic character change once he returns.
According to a source within WWE, that is not the case at this time.
Wyatt is expected to return with some tweaks to his presentation and character, but Wyatt isn’t expected to drop the “Eaters of Worlds” gimmick at this time. There has been discussion to make a drastic character change, but WWE is currently trying to focus on how to make the current character better.
The source stated that WWE plans on bringing Wyatt back as a babyface and will receive a big push with the new character tweaks. It’s being said that this could be a crucial point in Wyatt’s career, as WWE is beginning to lose faith in him.
Obviously, things can change and we were unable to confirm this report with any another source, so take it with a grain of salt.
