Triple H appeared at tonight’s NXT tapings at Full Sail and made two major announcements concerning the main event of Takeover: New York. The entire card for NXT Takeover: New York was finalized during tonight’s tapings, but the following is just pertaining to the NXT Championship picture.

Triple H announced that Tomasso Ciampa has vacated the NXT Title due to injury.
Johnny Gargano is in the match to determine the new NXT Champion. He will face the winner of a Fatal Five Way Match featuring Adam Cole, Aleister Black, Ricochet, Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle.
The NXT Championship Match is going to be a 2 out of 3 Falls match to determine a decisive winner.
Additionally, Adam Cole won the Fatal Five Way Match and will face Gargano for the NXT Championship.
