Last night at the 2017 Royal Rumble, Kevin Owens (with the help of Braun Strowman) retained his WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. During their match, Owens pulled out a move we haven’t see him do since entering the WWE.
In the middle of the match, Owens hit Reigns with a stunner, which received a big reaction in the Alamodome.

Many wanted to know what Stone Cold Steve Austin thought after seeing that move used. Austin has been known to be critical of others who use the move, like John Cena, who uses a variation springboard stunner.
Austin responded to Owens’ version as well:
Damn. I guess I gotta teach @FightOwensFight how to do a GD Stone Cold Stunner. Put some stink on it, kid. @WWE #royalrumble

Moral of the story here, kiddies… don’t use the Stunner without consulting Steve Austin first.
