Stone Cold Steve Austin interviewed Paul Heyman on the WWE Network immediately after Raw went off the air tonight, and during the interview the subject of Brock Lesnar of course came up.
At the end of the interview, Heyman asked Austin if he would face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, and Austin was very eager to respond, getting a bit fired up and seemed to go into full “promo” mode.
While Austin did not say yes, specifically, he did say he would “open a can of whoopass on Lesnar’s ass” and that “we could discuss it.”
Austin went on to say that the match is actually something Lesnar would have to think about, because he’s not sure Lesnar wants to go to Dallas next year and get his ass kicked in front of 105,000 WWE fans.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: For me, the entire mood of the interview changed when Heyman started poking at Austin about Lesnar. I don’t know if this was a shoot or work, but I think Austin did get legitimately fired up about the idea of facing Lesnar and that Heyman continued on the topic.
