What is going on with Becky Lynch & Conor McGregor?
It looks like the two Irish born champions of their sport are publicly acknowledging the possibility of working together in the future.
The other day, Apple News picked up an article written on Forbes titled “Becky Lynch Channeling Her Inner Conor McGregor To Become The WWE’s Biggest Star”. The writer makes some good points regarding the character similarities between the two, but ultimately confesses that Becky is not copying McGregor.
Becky Lynch picked up the story and tweeted about it:
The Man channels no one. @TheNotoriousMMA & me are bonded as Irish brother & sister. But if I ever got within 2 miles of him I’d break that bond, and his arm, in three short seconds. 😂 I’d be too tempting; he’d completely understand too. Proper12 after.

The tweet garnered a lot of traction quickly, and caught the attention of “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, who responded:

Awesome, right?
Well, Becky couldn’t resist and pulled a fast one on EVERYBODY, alluding to a possibility that we could see Conor McGregor at WrestleMania 35. The tweet below, however, was alluding to McGregor jumping on a place in Ireland to fly straight to Brooklyn, NY to cause an insane melee at a UFC Press Conference.
Becky responded:

This is really cool stuff from Becky & Conor here. Who knows if there is anything to it or not, but if WWE was serious about pushing Lynch, they would reach out to McGregor ASAP. There could be some real chemistry here & he could help sell ANY match that WWE is willing to put Becky in.
Imagine a situation where Becky is trained by McGregor to “knockout” Nia Jax? Just sayin’
If the situation was right, I’m sure Conor McGregor would be able to spend WWE’s money by appearing at WrestleMania 35 in Becky’s corner! Why not? Seems like an easy gig.
And let’s not forget that McGregor is a professional when needed. He’ll be able to abide by WWE’s “PG” Standards with no problem. I mean, Mike Tyson did, right?
At WrestleMania 14, “Iron” Mike Tyson was a large part of the push of Stone Cold Steve Austin. He helped elevate Austin to a new level of celebrity & I bet that Conor McGregor could do the same thing for Becky Lynch. She’s the hottest act that WWE has…DON’T SQUANDER THIS OPPORTUNITY!
