Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is in talks with the company to return to the ring for this year’s SummerSlam event.
Her rumored opponent is said to be Charlotte Flair, who recently returned to Smackdown Live & doesn’t currently have a program for “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”
Considering that SummerSlam is taking place in Stratus’ hometown of Toronto, Canada, it could be an enticing match for Trish.
Additionally, Charlotte Flair took a loss at the hands of Ember Moon last night, with a distraction from WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley. A few segments after the loss, Charlotte cut a vague promo backstage stating that she will prove that she is the greatest female superstar of all time.
