Ric Flair recently reported on his podcast that Stardust injured his neck during the December 7th edition of Raw in a match with Jack Swagger. Speculation was running rampant on the severity of the injury, but The Wrestling Observer has reported that the injury is NOT serious & Stardust has been cleared to return to the ring.
On the other hand, King Barrett confirmed that he has some nerve damage in his neck, but said that it wasn’t severe & he would be back in the ring soon.
However, The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Barrett’s injury is said to be serious, which is why we have seem him appear, but not get too physically involved. Barrett hasn’t competed since the December 7th Raw and December 8th Tribute to the Troops taping
The Observer doesn’t have anymore information, but nerve damage is tricky so they are more than likely taking a “wait and see” approach.
