Earlier this week, NXT Superstar Sawyer Fulton revealed that WWE has released him from his contract and he is no longer with the company.
Fulton posted the following on Twitter:
A new path is beginning to unfold and I’m excited to walk it!
Time to move forward to the same goal! pic.twitter.com/locZPJZTzR— FULTON (@SFulton_WWE) November 3, 2017
Fulton originally signed with WWE back in September of 2012. Fulton went through several character changes, including joining Sanity in 2016, but he would later leave the group due to an injury, which would result in him never returning to NXT television.
Also, according to ProWrestlingSheet.com, NXT Trainee Leo Gao has also been released from the company. Gao was a talent that WWE was very high on, but sadly never recovered from a very serious neck injury which limited his ability to work in the ring. Gao never made a NXT television appearance.
