According to PWInsider.com, the Undertaker is expected to make his long awaited return to WWE later this month, as he is scheduled to appear on the November 15th edition of Smackdown Live in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This episode is the 900th in SmackDown history, which is why he was booked for the show.
At this time, it’s unclear if WWE will begin the Undertaker’s WrestleMania 33 angle or if it’s a one-off appearance to make such a special occasion in the history of a brand he helped built.
The Undertaker was last seen at WrestleMania 32 where he won his Hell in a Cell match against the now SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon. Some have speculated that the Undertaker’s appearance could be to finally close the book on the Shane McMahon/Undertaker feud.
Many wondered if the Undertaker would return to WWE any time soon due to the growing health concerns which were sparked by photos of the Undertaker holding crutches and a report that stated that he had hip surgery earlier this year.
