Last night, former WWE announcer Brandi Rhodes tweeted that Cody Rhodes has completed his dates for Impact Wrestling and will likely not return to the promotion.
His dates with Impact were finished months ago dude. https://t.co/Kk8bwdv855

According to reports from several sources, Cody Rhodes is looking to sign a full-time contract somewhere. Many believe that Ring of Honor will be the destination, but others have speculated that he could sign with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, who have a great partnership with ROH.
There has also been some speculation that since Rhodes has rebranded and redefined himself, WWE might want to sign Rhodes back, similarly to what they’ve done with Kassius Ohno and Drew McIntyre.
Rhodes did tell Sports Illustrated the following during an interview when asked about a permanent home:
“I guess I spoke too soon.” Rhodes explained to CBS Sports. “It’s probably not time to make a decision. But if I did make a decision, it’s just a matter of trust. There’s so little trust in pro wrestling. So little. And there should be. We all love this thing and want to put on the best show and fill all of the seats in the house. But it’s trust and being around people in the office that I trust. I trust every guy in the locker room for the most part. But it’s finding that top brass in most companies that I know, if I put my name on the dotted line, that I’ll be taken care of. Honestly, any offer that came my way I haven’t really looked at. My date book is still pretty deep — all the way through September. It goes everywhere. We’ll probably revisit it then.”
Obviously, we’ll have to wait and see what happens. Rhodes is scheduled for ROH’s “Best In The World” pay-per-view on June 23rd in Lowell, Massachusetts at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium as he challenges for the ROH World Championship against Christopher Daniels.
