According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the status of Finn Balor for the Royal Rumble match will be determined within the next 48 hours.
While appearing on the Taz Show, Johnson stated that he wasn’t sure if Balor was awaiting a clearance from the WWE medical staff or if we was going to head down to the WWE Performance Center for a workout.
If Balor is cleared, it would make him a heavy favorite to win this Sunday’s Royal Rumble match in San Antonio, TX. It appears that any booking decisions on Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship could hinge on if Balor is cleared for the Rumble match.
