As many already know and witnessed, former WWE World Champion The Great Khali returned at the latest SmackDown LIVE-exclusive pay-per-view WWE Battleground, where he helped Jinder Mahal retain the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match.
It’s being reported by several sources that The Great Khali’s appearance at the event was a one-off deal. Now, it’s very possible that WWE brings Khali back in the future to possibly payoff his most recent appearance, but as of right now, the company does not have any plans to use him a regular basis.
Also, when Khali returned at Battleground, WWE.com did move his profile from the Alumni page to the active roster. But since Battleground, Khali has not been seen and his profile has been moved back to the Alumni page.
