Earlier this week, WWE.com reported that WWE Superstar Braun Strowman would miss up to 6 months of action after undergoing elbow surgery.
But in a conflicting report, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer revealed on a recent audio appearance that the 6 month timeline was a work and WWE is inflating the time he’ll be out of action. Meltzer reported that Strowman is expected to be back by mid-July and will make it back in time for his rumored match at SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
At this time, Lesnar’s next title defense will be at WWE Great Balls of Fire. His opponent will be the winner of the 5-way number one contender’s match between Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe.
