As previously reported, PWInsider.com has stated that Sting would likely not be taking part in this year’s WWE SummerSlam event.
In an update, PWInsider.com is reporting that while Sting will still be taking part in autograph sessions during SummerSlam weekend in Brooklyn, New York on Friday August 21st, he will then be moving on to Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago, Illinois for a scheduled appearance there.
However, it should be noted that Sting is only scheduled to appear at that event on Saturday August 22nd from 11AM-3PM, so it is still possible that Sting could end up becoming included in plans for this year’s SummerSlam since there appears to be nothing listed for him on that particular day.
Despite all of this, nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet.
