According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, as of right now, Goldberg (c) vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship is expected to close the show at WrestleMania 33 and go on last.
The report also notes that Bill Goldberg’s contract expires after WrestleMania, so it’s expected that this will be his last match in WWE unless he decides to sign a new contract. In this case, Lesnar is expected to defeat Goldberg for the title. Meltzer also notes that the match is expected to be around 8-10 minutes with some smoke and mirrors to help enhance the match from a potential bad performance.
As for after WrestleMania, the report states that Roman Reigns will likely spin off into a feud with Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship, after defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 which is expected right now.
Obviously, take this report with a grain of salt, as Vince McMahon tends to shift and move his WrestleMania card several times before deciding on the final set-list.
