During the main event of WWE Backlash this past Sunday, there were several reports of droves of fans walking out and leaving the arena before the match was over.
Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe were met with anger and boredom from the fans in Newark, New Jersey and it all ended with dozens of fans walking out during the match.

Some have speculated that it was due to the choice of the main event, along with the match itself and the length of the show. But there is no telling as to why exactly each fan left the show early.
The match was heavily criticized from the use of rest holds for extended periods of time and going a full half hour over the usual run time of the show.
