This past Monday Night on Raw, WWE CEO & Chairman Vince McMahon announced who will be the “commissioners” of both Raw & SmackDown.
The Chairman announced that Stephanie McMahon will be the “commissioner” of Raw and Shane McMahon will be the “commissioner” of SmackDown.
But that’s not all.
Vince McMahon also stated that Stephanie and Shane will have to select General Managers for their respective brands. Some found this announce puzzling, but the reason for this move is so Stephanie and Shane don’t have to appear on every show, which keeps them fresh and allows other authority figures to emerge.
At this time, it’s still unclear who is in the running to be the General Managers for either Raw or SmackDown.
