I mean, what are we waiting for?
The Street Profits, the NXT Tag Team Champions (I mean, technically) are two of the newest members to the Monday Night Raw roster. They have appeared in and every week in backstage segments as perennial hype men for the show.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the idea is to get The Street Profits over in these backstage segments BEFORE debuting in the ring on RAW.
They should be wrestling soon…no question about it. The RAW Tag Team Division is at a stage where the run of Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman as RAW Tag Team Champions is setting it up for a more featured role.
If the new formed team of Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode become champions, The Street Profits would be perfect candidates to challenge them for the belts.
But what about The Viking Raiders? We’ve seen their matches with The Street Profits in NXT & it wouldn’t shock me if these two teams clashed sooner rather than later on RAW.
Either way, The Street Profits should be in the ring soon. How many more weeks of simple backstage segments can really be in store for these two?
