In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer talks about the WWE WrestleMania 34 location rumored for the “New York area,” which ultimately means New Jersey.

There reportedly has been some internal talk that East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium would once again host the event, following a successful hosting of WrestleMania 29, which did major numbers within the tri-state area.

Meltzer does note that SummerSlam 2017 is expected to run at the Barclay’s Center. WWE doesn’t want to run two major shows in the same market that close to each other, so it seems like that situation would need to be a “one or another” deal.

All of this, Meltzer qualified, is currently rumors and shouldn’t be taken as facts.

    • That’s not entirely fair. As a subscriber to WON/F4W, they report what they hear and that’s it. The reason for Meltzer getting a rap from fans is the misinterpretation from other second hand news sites that twist his words and act like because he said, it’s not fact. Meltzer is the first to admit when he’s wrong, or if he doesn’t know something, he’ll say just that.
