There has been rumors and reports for months that several old pay-per-views will be making their return to WWE. Well, we can confirm that WWE Backlash will be returning this year.
The pay-per-view is scheduled on September 11th at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. Oddly, WWE Backlash is scheduled the same day as TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which is widely considered by the company as their biggest show of the year.
Tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster on July 27th. At this time, it’s unclear if this show will host both the RAW and SmackDown brands or if it will host just one show.
