WWE just announced the following:
“BREAKING: Starting Sept. 18, @WWENXT will air LIVE as a two-hour weekly show every Wednesday on @USA_Network!”
Here is what we know according to various reports:
Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness, and Beth Phoenix are going to host the show.
Vince McMahon is not expected to be at the shows and one can not stress how big that is.
For those wondering about NXT and the WWE Network, it has been announced that the USA show will be available on a 24-hour delay, on Thursdays at 8 PM Eastern. After that airing, it will be available via the networks video on demand.
There are no changes in regards to how Takeover will air. Those remain exclusive to the WWE Network.
Main Roster talent is expected to have a presence on the show. In what form is not known yet. Also expect some NXT talents to start appearing on Raw and Smackdown Live to start to garner some exposure for the show.
Triple H tweeted the following:
“Can’t describe this announcement in any other word than PROUD.
Proud of everyone involved from day one.
Proud you’ve let your voice be heard and carried the banner of this brand.
Proud you’ve loudly & clearly said #WeAreNXT.
And I’m proud to say, we’re just getting started.”
