In a bit of a shocking move, WWE this morning announced the following:
“Effective today, Friday April 10, 2020, WWE and The Revival have agreed on their immediate release from WWE. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
If the normal 90 day window would have applied, then Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder would have to wait to be free to sign anywhere on July 10th.
However, with the release being labeled immediate, they are free to sign anywhere as soon as today.
It is reported WWE made one last offer of one million dollars per year, and once the team refused the offer the decision was made to release the duo.
It would seem AEW would be the most likely option to set up a match with The Young Bucks at the eventual All Out 2 event.
