WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka Has Been Charged With Third Degree Murder

WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka has been charged with 3rd Degree Murder in relation to the death of his ex girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, which happened in 1983.

Investigators claim Snuka directly caused her death following an attack at a motel in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The autopsy report showed that Argentino suffered contusions and cuts over her body which are consistent with domestic violence and a traumatic brain injury consistent with blunt force trauma to the head. Bail has been set at $100,000 and Snuka’s arrest follows a high profile campaign to get the case reopened by Argentino’s family.

WWE issued the following statement:

“WWE expresses its continued sympathy to the Argentino family for their loss. Ultimately this legal matter will be decided by our judicial system.”

Police reportedly reopened the 30 plus year old case into the death of Jimmy Snuka’s then Girlfriend Nancy Argentino due to discrepancies with his original statement regarding her death in 1983 and his more recent account of what happened in his autobiography, “Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story” which was published in 2012.

In 1983, Sunka told investigators that Nancy injured her head while the two were “fooling around” outside of their motel room in Allentown, PA when he pushed her and she fell, striking her head. In his autobiography Snuka says Nancy slipped and fell on her own while going to the bathroom at a rest stop. He makes no mention of an altercation whatsoever.

This was enough for the family of Argentino to push Police to reopen the case.

The following extract below from Snuka’s autobiography also puts into question Vince McMahon Jr.‘s involvement in incident and what he knew. It will be interesting to see if Police want to speak to McMahon in the newly reopened cold case.
